This is the general life cycle of orbs
NEW = making/messing around ((live/on ableton/together or apart))((sometimes finding new ‘things’/creatures))
RECONTEXTUALIZING = recontextualizing/layering/mixing ((can b done by dj-ing or like just doing new versions of tracks on mic&piano))
EXCAVATING = finding particularly interesting bits ((deep listening))
FORMALIZING = developing into more formal ORBS ((also deep listening and trying to realise what the orbs want + technical engineering bits))
Orbs are the material of the world/ecosystem … everything is made of orbs
